On the 25^th of May we opened our garden along side six other gardens in Wendover in aid of Iain Rennie hospice at home (www.irhh.org).

  It was the first time we sold teas & cakes so we did not know what to expect. The cakes donated by our neighbours excelled expectation. We sold them in slices to maximize the intake.

  I do not have the full figures for all the gardens opened in Wendover. For our garden only:

·We had 154 visitors

·We took in £235.5 of which £145.5 (~62%) was for refreshments (most bought their tickets in other gardens)
